>>53906540> How many of you were supportive of them when they were first debuted?90% of this thread's regulars were either neutral or semi-supportive of them for about a month after their debuts. Anyone saying otherwise is a newfag or a troll.
They had positive PR here mainly for these reasons -
> iLuna/nijikeksiLuna had just debuted with the highest debut numbers ever and were naturally compared to what was "Hololive"'s latest offering. They quickly crashed down, so the homos' decent numbers were a convenient tool to shitpost against nijikeks, especially as they spammed a lot of shit against the homos early on when their designs were revealed.
> goodwill carried over by homoJPSome JP homos were considered "bros" and it was thought that EN homos would follow their footsteps, back when people thought Shinove and JP homo management were in charge of Tempus. The early tweets from the homos were also non-horny and "brotuber"-ish, a refreshing change from all the recent niji pre-debut lewdposting and LGHDTV posturing, so anons beleb'd in them for a while.
> generic memeryThe simple spam of "mag" edits delivered HUGE amounts of seethes from nijisanji fans, as regulars just shitposted for the fun of it. Vesper's whole "relatable" shtick was also rather popular before he showed his true "inconsiderate asshole" colors.
Similar to "Early Mumei" posting (
https://streamable.com/meqd3h), magging was a fun meme while it lasted, and most of the people posting it knew things would change after debut, but of course some held on to hope.
People knew that some of the girls might collab with them (Mori, Bae etc. were known quantities), and didn't expect Ame and Kronii to join in (which tipped the balance dangerously to one side after Ina did a song collab with them).
As slowly as their reputation was built, it was also torn down one block at a time -
> Reducing their collab ban due to "fan demand". This received a confused yet lukewarm reception at the time, but with hindsight it's used as a "beginning of the end" step.> Kronii collab (this was mainly Kronii's fault, but it detached the EN homos' presence away from the goodwill acquired by the consideration given to holos by the JP homos).> Blue fag taking credit for breaking the "Niji collab" barrier despite Kiara having been the one to work the hardest at it.> Blue fag going "support the cause" and picking fistfights with viewers.> Axel's extremely annoying personality and shipping fever which killed both Zeta and Nodoka's presence in the EOP sphere (and Hololive in general).> Vesper becoming the first EN talent to get suspended. Homo JP never had a single suspension throughout their 3 year long lifespan.> Vesper menhera and blatant "non unity" collabs during the Japan arc (boys : anxiety; girls : yabbadabbadooo). And well, we all know the breaking point -
> Tempus 2 debuts instead of EN3At this point, the homos' reputation is THOROUGHLY in the toilet. But they just kept going -
> Vesper continues to pick fights with viewers, shitposts about collabing with your oshi, raids Kiara causing drama.> None of the homos EVER acknowledge the homobeggar problem or remind their audience to respect the rules of other streamers and not to bring them up in other streams.> Homobeggars in general invading YT chat, YT comments, reddit comments and several other girls' spaces, probably the biggest trigger for homo hate after the breaking point.> Tempoop faggot homobegging to be included in Holotori despite getting ignored by Kaela, encouraging further begging.> Merging of Holopro and HoloEN accounts, which in hindsight didn't do much damage, but at the time caused drama galore.> Two of the "biggest" homos getting a complete base remodel for themselves after not even a one year career, blatant favoritism. And of course, the latest "stoppage" yab.
Those that supported them initially would naturally have the most vehement interest in seeing them fall, since their "support" is what led to this situation in the first placee.
It's like atonement for your original sins.
