Twitch culture is one of lazyness, of people streaming because they want to hang out as a friend with their chat. Not of striving for success through the creation of better content. I've heard a couple of vtubers that switched platforms that feel more relaxed at twitch, precisely because the audience has lesser expectations and you don't have to please an algorithm for exposure.
I feel that the twitch way makes for more genuine parasocial relationships, but it also feels extremely stagnant and depressing.
