I honestly don't give a shit if Rushia is single or not, it doesn't matter as long as the kayfabe isn't broken (and here's the keyword) intentionally. I watch chuubahs for their character, not because of the whore behind the screen. Just because Konata's seiyu is a whore IRL doesn't mean that people who have Konata as their waifu are getting cucked. The same principle applies here.
However, I fucking hate the fact that the same western, normalfag, twitter warriors that claim that parasocial relationships are toxic and should be discouraged are defending the chuubah who has taken advantage of said parasocial relationship dynamic to such an extreme degree. Regardless of my personal opinion of Rushia's roommate situation, this is ultimately the bed she made and she needs to lie in it.
