Ad revenue for j-pop songs with anime visuals could be as low as 2-3$ for 1000 views
What also makes someone like Asahina Akane such a weird case, or utaus without a contract.
Putting out 30 covers in 1 year when the top is only around 500k; 150-200k views average can't be financially sound
