The only reason for an indie as well established as Shondo is quickly becoming to join a corpo is money really, and Shondo just doesn't strike me as someone that wants or needs very much of it. She plans on doing a subathon to buy herself a house so she can have her own bedroom to stream from, but she's said the only reason she cares about that is so she can make higher quality content with less restrictions. This is an adult who doesn't care that she shares a room with multiple kid siblings and is only motivated to get her own personal space so she can grind out higher quality streams. Think about that.
