But also the best way is to memorize a bunch of vocabulary and then learn some grammar alongside it if you can.
So starting off learn hiragana. Then learn all the particles and their meanings (attached image).
After that I'd focus on going through the JLPT until you get to at least N3 since it'll give you a pretty good vocabulary.
For that you can either search up a list on google and learn them one at a time or use Anki. I used TheMoeWay Tango N5 for N5 learning but you can use whatever.
