Mostly she does them centered or off-center, circular or symmetrical composition, and adds some pattern to fill the background. Maybe I'm not at the level to break down those compositions.
But that one's a very deliberate triangular composition, with the division of the right-edge between background element and canvas approximating the golden ratio.
As well, the scattering of the background approximates the golden ratio, the curvature from the nose to eyeline follows it, then meets at the midline of the skull, hairline, and browline.
Maybe that's sheer coincidence, but the curl of her hair does imply it, a little.
At the very least the larger triangular form looks intentional and very cool. It feels like it says something about her character, that she's whorling yet contained in that sharp shape.
