As a dedicated place for it so that the main thread doesn't just burn through like 10 threads a day for an entire month. People still talked about it here, but usually only if it was a big moment or a collab or nobody else was live. It's not a schizo split, though I would have waited until the subathon actually started before making it myself lmao.
Anyway it's a good thing. Nobody's making anyone move and you can find the ones last year easily in the archive.
