Can't receive money with paypal so if you see Russian streamer - they probably have different way of donating like donationalerts or boosty. And can't use throne because amazon don't send shit here.
I don't think it's "moral" reasons, it's more so that we are cut off from things like SWIFT because of sanctions. Also paypal pulled out from the country so we can't use it.
So if you ever watched a Russian streamer and they abruptly stopped in the middle of 2022 or so - they probably depended on twitch payouts. And people who still stream doing it more for fun rather than to make it big.
