>>58492638Way that makes her slightly boring to me.
Hime: I have a soft spot for Hime in the same way I do for Lia, that she is fundamentally broken by the internet and sheltered by her family to allow the expression of her character. Her shorts work and the general tone of her character are even more so aligned with a zoomer audience I’m unfit to comment on but the raw enjoyment generated by her efforts show a rare kind of authenticity in that they are a sheer expression of her character. Hime has some subtle inversions to the pandering aspect of her Hime position but overall the gentle way in which she goes about staying true to herself is most endearing.
Airi: Dog has, by character, a relentless work ethic and wholesomeness to her character that works even more efficiently in gap from her character model. Tenma tier without the edge, her “straight man” persona is unfortunately her strongest aspect in light of her other admirably qualities. She has some off meta, “older” sensibilities in content that better help accentuate this kind of out of the loop innocence that brings out the “pon” quality of her performance.
Panko: The unfettered tresspasa of her youthful experience genuinely earn the fanbase “pankophile” moniker as the youth of her fumbling missteps bring out the most endearing of her emotions. I think she is the most genuine of the classic embodiment of “weak so you can be strong” viewer engagement. A mewling, revitalizing European au pair sharing her tender voice and fumbling fingers after her chores are done experience.
Jelly: Very high proficiency young woman. She’s smarter than me and knows what she’s doing. Like Lumi but without the mind games and coded to her Autistic male user base. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve seen from her but don’t see the conceptual growth potential of her character.
Michi: Da Michi, The Woman With The Big Hat. Michi embodies all of the qualities of Tenma in a more authentic package, with her fiery spirit tempered in the confines of her purple box for the safety of her viewers. A true treasure for the fish to hold.
Nasa: The CUTEST Phase Co member. Utterly incapable of trespass. The “sleepy dragon” is the perfectly disarming archetype to highlight her high level quality. Can literally do no wrong. Her embodiment of the “rural childhood sweetheart who stayed in your hometown” is utterly heart melting and I couldn’t fathom a single person ever uttering a single negative thing about her.
Dizzy: Dizzy embodies a certain kind of desperation to her character that is enjoyable to see suffer. I don’t enjoy partaking in that kind of engagement but as “company whipping post” I think she really elevates the otherwise base aspect of her character. The crude tit bondage of her character design only lends itself to this sadistic engagement with her which I personally find distasteful. That being said she seems like a particularly earnest woman which gives her a beaten wife quality that softens the entire engagement with her production.
Bonus: Sakana. Little Brother Kevin has given us so much. His handling of the company and deferment to talent input has been uplifting. His inability to stop himself from calling Jelly a hit dwelling tree climbing jungle monkey love on Twitter really swelled my affection for him internet heart for his raw autistic inability to falling to the baser impulse of his Chinese character. Thank you for sharing your sad girls with us Little Brother.
