personally watching good vtubers doesn't somehow make the threads better; the rest are still medicore producing medicore threads and mediocre discussion as a result
if everybody had higher standards and just refused to watch or talk about 99% of vtubers then these threads, this board and the hobby would improve greatly
if every holo stream and collab was them playimg some actually genuinely good game or some ENReco tier thing or like the best Lethal Company collabs then the threads would be better and there'd be more to talk about, as there always is whenever such few streams do happen
Cover themselves have likely come to a similar conclusion about the state of the quality of what passes for most content and people's dwindling interest in it, hence why they keep pushing more idolshit performances and things all the RP shit and events like the Promise musical for EN - evidently, endless streams of kusoge, apex and random mario party or clubhouse collabs can only do so much and they aren't seeing returns on it because it is, simply, just fucking boring
the threads getting worse is also reflective of this because anons - though they would be loathe to admit it - unironically find not watching streams and arguing with random threadshitters and inventing drama genuinely more mentally stimulating than the boring slop they only half pay attention to in another tab
