To put it in perspective, Dokibird/Selen is/was unironically one of the top ccv streamers for games like Apex. I just went and grabbed the top streams for the top FPS games right now and they're pretty low in general. And this is prime time on a sunday.
Youtube especially is awful for growth on top of that.
Not to mention that "girl gamers" aren't taken seriously by FPS streamers' main audience: kids and teens. And I guess most of those kids wouldn't be caught dead watching an anime girl be better at a FPS than them when they could follow a popular guy instead.
