The people doing the research and pushing shit forward there is making a million or more in actual salary and if you have stock, it's right now worth millions even if not on the private market. In fact, it's a big enough problem Nvidia has had to address it in internal meetings where middle managers are making at least a million a year on stock grants alone. There are far more people there making it rich right now with insane compensation than any liver can begin to dream of, the only thing different is the amount of work you need to put in on average.
