>>83417236that's not even remotely true, no one in OSRS, ironman or not, uses smithing to make usable gear. That comes from monster drops like basically every other piece of gear you will ever use. Smithing is niche-ly used at very high levels to make high-alchables and not a lot else outside of quest requirements and diaries.
Hell, everything before dragon is pretty much completely buyable from stores for very little.
