And all of that land would be repurposed as farmland, can't have the nutrients in the ground going to waste now can we?
The end goal, however, is to gain enough resources that we can mass produce greenhouses the size of which you couldn't even comprehend so we can grow all the alien plants that otherwise would just die out on Vitubia. At that point, it's to be expected for the farmland to be reforested for our future needs.
