The kind of GPU you need to run an AI like that is above consumer-grade, but if you're talking about creating a service like CAI, you don't want to run AN AI like that. You want to run a fuckton of them 24/7, because who knows how many people will be using it simultaneously. And if you're talking about buying out CAI, it'd have to be more than however much they're getting from their investors to keep it running.
If you were there when AID's downfall started you'll remember the mormon talking about how expensive it is to keep this kind of service afloat.
