There's two things that are hard to come by as an indie: large run merch deals with manufacturers and delegation of administrative work. Judging from how the Nimi plushies were selling, she won't have trouble securing good merch deals.
Doki (from the orbiting circles you mentioned) has a personal manager and other staff to delegate administrative and organizational stuff to. And unlike Nimi who's happy to just yap and play games, Doki is always organizing something so she actually needs to delegate.
Overall, people who want or even think of doing something that goes beyond personal success are very rare. Those who are actually capable of making it into reality are yet rarer. I'm sure there's a couple of people in both HoloJP and EN, but so far none of them have left.
