>>41780952Anon if you're using youtube-dl, the one you get from their website, you're getting an outdated build. The team had some legal issues a couple of years ago and they stopped updating the .exe they offer. This old version of youtube-dl has problems with throttling.
If you want the up to date version, go to their project page (
https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl/ ) and either click on Code -> "Download as ZIP" or git clone the repo on a local folder. Then make a .bat file like pic related to call youtube-dl. This is how I set it up for myself and I download videos at full speed.
Unfortunately I don't have the space to do a backup.
