holoEN is essentially THE group for vtuber newfags, and so when someone pokes their head in for a spell and sees the stale as fuck unfunny jokes, they repeat it because it's new and funny to them.
the cycle just keeps repeating and that's why jokes run into the dirt forever. newfags in, make old ass joke because it's new to them, newfags out. of course there's exceptions in the form of unfunny people who stick around, but this is how i assume these "jokes" stick for so long.
