Being both in the threads and the aspcord for a while now, I realized that both are mostly shit but still good for something. The threads are good at introducing yourself and promotion when you're starting out, while the discord will absolutely ignore every one of your streams, even if you're a regular chatter or "friend" of the people there. The threads are surprisingly more close knit than the discord. It's also good for getting art since artists stop by so often. But the discord is good for getting real advice since it's all tied to names. You can ignore advice from 1views that aren't succeeding and use the useful resources that people share very often. It's also easier to DM people since everyone is there. Although both the threads and the discord are shit for discussion since both have the biggest fucking idiots on at all times.
