Indies will join corpos to farm a fanbase and leave to join the ex-corpo cohort which will dominate the "indie" scene.
I can see this arrangement working, especially in Japan. The really big corpos will pivot completely to the IP giant scheme like Holo is aiming to do. Other smaller corpos will spring out from time to time to maybe play off being an alternative to that or just as a method of pooling resources for some of the ex-corpos.
