Remember, the Russian language is still commonly used in Ukraine (not only in Donetsk and Luhansk, like /pol/fags claim) as well as other former Soviet Republics. It's essentially a lingua franca for those countries. Just because someone speaks Russian doesn't mean he's also ethnically Russian. Otherwise we all here would be considered Englishmen.
