>>155287202 years ago, when my japanese was still terrible, I was still a nijifag, and I still played a lot of FPS, I looked up "CSGO vtuber" and found Tama and Nazuna. The novelty got me to watch her for a few streams but I got bored eventually and went back to watching niji.
Youtube eventually recommended me gekipochi's EFT playlist made by that ST clipper guy, eventually got hooked into Vspo and the rest of the japanese FPS scene, and then
made the first few virtual FPS threads. Thanks a lot to whoever took over..
I began watching nijisanji less and less until I stopped watching them altogether (except for Petit, Bora, Naraka, etc.) because of the time it takes to keep up with who I'm watching now.
BIG, Geinin Ryodan, Vspo, CR: I don't watch these groups because they play FPS, that's the least important factor of it (I barely have the time to play nowadays). They became my "oshis" because of the great atmosphere that they cultivate seemingly effortlessly. Because of all the cross-group friendships, it feels so authentic. There's so many interesting relationships here that there's always something to watch. I consider myself lucky to have stumbled upon them that early.
We had a great year in terms of fun events and interesting developments, let's enjoy it all while we can and hope for another great year for them.
(Here's the gekipochi EFT playlist btw
