>>51974249>EmberSex model driven by a dork with anger issues that don't seem to come out very often, so they seem to be something she's either embarrassed about or is just actively trying to not make part of her character. So when they inevitably do come out, it's jarring and uncomfortable, and not a very good look. But her streams are generally pretty comfy and cutesy, and she has a nice voice to listen to in the background. Her timeslot is also pretty comfy.
>DizzySo far she's shown herself to be the most creative in terms of themes for streams, going through a lot of different ideas pretty quickly. Whether that's because she's trying to figure out what her style is or is just flailing hoping something will stick, I don't know. But her character is fairly appealing, and the glimpses of the "real person" element comes through often enough that it's more endearing than annoying imo. She does have the least pleasant voice to listen to of the three, though it has grown on me. What is unambiguous though is she has the worst timeslot of the three, right in primetime, so she needs to directly compete with far more established, far more comfortable talents.
>JellySeems to have immediately settled on the "I'll stream what I enjoy" strategy, which is to her benefit since she's also the only one of the three that seems to have found a niche--autistic perfectionism, whether in factory builders, puzzles, or more creative endeavors. That she's also the only one streaming when I start work means I'm always tuning in, whether she's my preferred chuuba or not. Then there's the added benefits outside of streaming which has shown up in her musical production ability (offkai, anniversary).
>Comparing with Gen 2It's too early to say for sure is my honest opinion. Shiina is the unambiguous, head-and-shoulders success of the gen, while the others have found comfortable niches of their own to slowly grow in. Of them, Panko seems to be the most successful, but that could just be my perception because of her popularity /here/.
I'd say Jelly has the strongest start of the three and probably ranks around or slightly below Panko in that regard. I really think her timeslot does her a lot of favors.
After that, I'm not really sure. My gut tells me Ember will plateau very quickly because she's frankly not very interesting to watch in a "seen one stream, seen them all" way. She did have good energy and chemistry in the collabs she's done that I've seen though (Pippa, Airi), so who knows. And Dizzy still seems to be in the "wild card" category. I think she's trying as many things as possible right now to see what works best for her, which is a good idea. But it's true that she doesn't have anything solid to fall back on if an idea is a flop. Her zatsu is pretty decent, and her autism on tamagotchi was endearing. But eventually she will become comfortable, and that'll be when we find out if her "im coming apart at the seams at all times" character remains endearing when there's less genuine anxiety behind it.
