well I think we have a piece of evidence that Pikamee was really in talks about leaving even way before the whole Harry Potter drama, and the evidence is this:

So I believe the whole Harry Potter thing was just a well timed excuse, the talks were happening way before, and that's why Pomu said on a stream that Pikamee had this planned atleast for a month before the drama
