Unless I am mistaken, what you associate with SD img2img metadata is actually part of webui and how it functions. If you were running SD "barebones" there's no reason to suspect there'd be any metadata saved to begin with.I'm too tired but I might look at the .vue code during the weekend and see what it actually does.
