/vt/ is absolutely dominated by EN discussion at all times and nearly all JP generals got troubles keeping up with the catalog, resorting to regularly bumping their thread with images to not get archived in barely an hour, or even straight up merging together in some extreme cases... And to be fair, there's not that much Miofa activity on /hlg/ either, there's a few dedicated posters but that's it.
Some girls simply aren't popular at all overseas.
It's just that since JP fanbases are all condensed in a single thread, there's more general interest about all of HoloJP which means more discussion about Miosha, not necessarily by Miofa.
But as others said, their thread culture ended up getting distorted beyond recognition, now it's all about fighting the threads/culture/fanbases/board wars every single day at all times and other insane schizo shit...
