>>99969604>The only thing that we will lose is the model, but its complete shit and always has been, its just being caried by her charismaMy favourite Gura artist was a fan of that model, that design. And since he has a principle of not drawing holomems once they graduate, he's already signalled that he's going to stop drawing Gura regularly. He's even changes his details to remove Gura, showing that he's moving on. Its painful because he clearly had a passion for Gura, and its like he has to force himself to move on because of this. It wa snot just the charisma, the character itself was very special.
>You don't have to forget the good moments at allI won't, and I don't plan to at all. But I really and truly wish it had been longer. So many JP holomems are still at Hololive, going up to their 7th year and more. I would have been happy if it had been a decade. I would have been happy if a few other classic JP mems have gone first (other then Aqua and Shion) before Gura left, and Gura's number had been as long as theirs (6 years for Aqua and Shion) I know people like to say she was "dead" by 2022, but she wasn't. She still had potential to me.
I think the last time a story left me this fraught was the endings to Cowboy Bebop and Texynolyze. Both for different reasons, but the feeling was the same. For Bebop, because I wanted more of that world. For Texhnolyze, a wish that there was a better ending than the depressing one. I guess I'm feeling both here.
