I knew dudes in their 40's who lived in literal mansions surrounded by doctors and lawyers and shit. These fuckin guys would buy a new truck every year in cash because the money was insane.
But it takes a special mind to stand in a muddy ditch for 12-16 hours, rain, snow, sleet, hail, ect. Unless theres thunder and lightning, your out there, and if you get cancelled you dont get paid.
My most miserable experience was not packing extra socks, and an hour into my shift my jeans were soaked, my feet were cold and wet, and i still had 15 hours to go
