That's not hyperbole. The ruling class just sees a dog complaining about not wanting to go outside.
In America it's encouraged to protest. Besides, despite whining a lot, the state still gets taxes or tax breaks from them. Plus lets say White people do get upset and rout a group. Their home countries will complain and it's embargoes and all sorts of shenanigans.
I think I'll stay inside and watch Vtubers.
