>>79613909>With the pre-made characters, how much are we allowed to fuck about with them? Change them about? Reboot them, so to speak?Consider the following: Nyana's character originally looked like this.
>How often do we have to stream or post to keep the rights to a character? It's not okay if it might be months between streams, obviously? We don't want vtweeters. That is to say, people who would use the character or status of being vtuber for clout without actually doing anything. A few people have done that, and it's very irritating. As for how often, there isn't a hard requirement, but more often is preferable than less often.
Also,
>to keep the rights to a characterNobody actually has the rights to the characters. It's open source, so anybody can pick it up, even if someone else already has.
>Is it okay if I've never streamed before?Absolutely. A lot of people got into flavr as their first streaming experience. It's a good place to start, and if it turns out it's not something you enjoy, that's fine, too.
>Is it okay if Pippa isn't my oshi?Mixie originally found out about FlaVR as a concept from Twitter without knowing about Pippa, but now she's pretty appreciative of her. A lot of people see this as a fan project for Pippa, though maybe not everyone involved. If you're an outright anti for Pippa, people probably wouldn't be too happy about that, but if you just don't know much about her or indifferent, eh, that's understandable. Temp likes Pippa, but he's more of a fan of the entire Phase Connect company as a whole.
>If I could just get away with writing a novella, I would. But then I'd be a fucking vtweeter.I think we'd just like to see people doing good work, bringing the characters to life. Going on Twitter and going "Hey Pippa do you wanna collab?" before even streaming is peak vtweeter behavior. If you're focused on making something like art or fanfiction, rather than what you're getting out of it, that's better than nothing. I think someone picking up a character just to be a clipping channel would be pretty cool, honestly. Just do something more than bother people on Twitter.
