>>36659564The Minecraft server they were using 2-3 years ago was absolutely shitting itself with just 40 odd people, and they've added multiple gens since. That being said, they upgraded that server a while ago and multiple people passed on the event anyways, which instead points to the real reason being to establish this festival as a JP focused one. That would also explain why ID hosted a summer MC festival as well, so EN and ID would have their own festival while JP could continue to add gens and not have to worry about timezones, translators, etc.
