After all these years I realised that vtubers aren't really that different from a normal streamer (not the bad ones though). Just imagine a fleshtuber selling voicepacks where they pretend to be your partner, they do exist and it's just like these.
I wouldn't say it's unique, it's probably the normal reaction to something like this, but after being in the vtuber sphere all this time we tend to lose the track of what is normal and what is "vtuber normal".
