I forgot the specific classification of angel that is the ring with eyes all around it but the handle part of the key is covered in eyes too so that feels deliberate. If nothing else at least the key could be from heaven or something. Especially since I'm assuming it's tying into the other VShojo lore where they've already established both heaven and hell exist.
