I'm leaving a school building with a crowd of other students. Casual t-shirt Ina is walking next to me. She asks if I want to eat lunch with her, and I notice she has a bag of McDonald's burgers. I have to consider it for a second, but then I think to myself "It's Ina. Why the hell not?" So we walk to a nearby outdoor table, one of those metal mesh deals, and just as we're about to sit down, I wake up.
It was crushingly disappointing. But being invited to lunch by cute Ina was still a pretty good feeling that I kept for the rest of the day.
