If there has to be a proposal, I'd say maybe we go for a style of fantasy where there can be drastically different tech levels without too much problems? Like, in warhammer fantasy you've got your dwarves with tanks and your lizardmen who just ride bigger lizards, but it kinda just works out because regardless of the tech levels everyone seems to be satisfied with their current development level and direction.
If we go for that, I think /morig/ might be like, socially modern, architecturally and militarily gothic, scientifically medieval, with a lot of magic filling in some gaps in quality of life.
