I obviously would have already put two and two together that something was not right. so that would dampen the shock. If it was not a genetic issue, the first thing I would do freeze her eggs and put some money into a surrogate mom fund in her name just in case things do not work out. the two most important questions that would follow would be 1 are the meds what are making her more retarded as time goes on? and 2 is there any hope of recovery.
either way lumi has never once "stirred my loins" so I would have been primarily in it for a friend who I could be close to without it being gay. so long so as that could continue, then some sort of relationship will continue. either to hard fought recovery or unto the embrace of hypnos and thanatos.
