>>15365098so first things first you want to rate the starting hands of all players, you go around from the dealer since they'll do the usual first discards anyways (hatsu, single honors, single terminals etc.)
Comment on any hands sticking out (Chanta hands, Chiitoi, really fast Riichis) and you're golden.
If you can calculate fast enough comment on potential points (disregarding ura-dora for now) or at least main Yaku and combinations so the viewers (mostly beginners in our case) can get a feel for danger on the field.
Then you'd set the situation into perspective. Doesn't say much for game 1 (25k all) but commenting on potential changes in South 2 can show chances for upsets. If someone is far in the shit, be sure to comment on potential yakumans which could still flip this just to shit in his face or to rile up the audience in case he actually gets it.
Also, since none of the players hear you, use your knowledge of all 4 hands to evaluate chances of the winning tile falling once someone is tenpai so the viewers can already see the trap easily the dude playing can not even know for sure is set up.
Turns out this week nobody in my company fucking works so I might just come online to comment the first matches.
