>>20340463>Yeah she got shit for it, but my point is that ultimately "being cancelled" won't kill your career,NTA but people don't realize how taxing it is to be in the public eye, especially when you have your own issues behind the scenes to deal with. Being constantly bombarded with hate messages for several months, having people take any innocuous statement you make and twist it so more people hate you, seeing former fans leave you because they bought into the drama/lies, etc can take a serious mental toll on you.
Yeah she has a shit ton of patrons on Patreon, but part of content creation requires having that spark and sense of fulfillment from your work. Passion is why some content creators will spend several months perfecting a script, redoing everything from scratch if they catch a big mistake and so on. Without that sense of passion, there's a bigger chance your content will appear as half-assed...which will garner you even more criticism. I don't envy what she's gone through.
