I mean why WOULD Cover just want the channel to be just one instead of two? It's one less EN channel for streaming, and one less revenue stream. Package deal may get you more from the niche that likes it but the general audience will essentially be halved by this move.
So OBVIOUSLY it was something the talents themselves requested. The thumbnail wink and this setup basically confirms who they are with 99% probability, but this also means that the EN3 girls had a LOT more say in their design compared to the older gens.
