I think there is a case of anxious people putting up a fake self/playing an act, maybe like some kind of protection. You end up being at ease when pushed into social situations, but never being yourself and not forming meaningful relationships as you also don't open up.
Not saying it's exactly beatani, but given her personality and tastes, it's pretty easy to guess she doesn't open up to many people. That's one reason the streams feel so fun to her too, she can be herself fully without much restraint.
