Yes management will inevitably chase numbers in the big picture, but as long as there's a fair balance between numberfag hires and 2view risks it keeps things fresh and interesting. When Nijisanji EN just turns into a collection of failed Youtubers and mid-tier Twitch streamers from the last decade I'm not sure why I'd want to keep watching. You'll never get someone like Salome by chasing established ex-Youtubers who are a known quantity.
