>>42198053I was there. Let me clarify a bit. What I mean is, I want to live the example she's set. I probably should have stated "she doesn't want to become cynical and jaded again". The difference is when she learns something her excitement is far more palpable and childlike. She has a greater sense of wonder than I do, and seeing her learn new things or take life in stride in general inspires me to be better too. That's why I keep saying we are similar, because not long before I started watching her, I was jaded and cynical. Having a goal in mind and working towards it has made things better but meeting her accelerated and reignited my love for life and my ability to push myself to work harder.
