Being a shit indie is objectively worse, you lack any backing, you pay for it all, it's all on you but atleast you can sort your own problems out or hire a competent person who can sort specific stuff out. If you've ever spent any time in Japan for living you'll swiftly understand how stupidly flooded their entire culture is with bureaucracy, management in corpos is no different and I can't blame Fauna for saying "Fuck you" to it all
