If you have tons of things to do, some of them groundwork some of them polish, it's 80% groundwork 20% polish where 20% of the work take 80% of the time. Or the usual customers and the odd ones out, where 80% buy a rake to actually rake and 20% shove it up bodily openings. Management powerpoints only have these two numbers and maybe three colors which are red, green and maybe yellow unless you have the binary kind of management where only red and green is possible.
Basically that dude's job is to actually understand shit and tell it to better paid people in kindergarten terms so they can trust their gut feeling anyways and blame you for shit data in case they decided bullshit.
