Sometimes I look *beyond* the numbers and think: why some vtubers are successful and some are not and languish at the bottom of the
>>14912658 ranking.
I know about Hajime plight but I decided to check on the other two lowest ranked NijiJP.
Meet Yukishiro Mahiro, the second lowest ranked Niji girl
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMK5Q3Nc_3UHer shortcomings are obvious, just compare her MarioKart stream with ANY Holo girl or even higher ranked Niji girl
>she has no BGM>she has no intro>her MarioKart stream started from a cold opening to her waiting to be called to the tournament>she replies to her meager chat as if she was talking to her buddies on SMS without any sense of entertainment>when the game finally started she WENT FUCKING SILENT and the only movement from her avatar was blinking and sometimes leaning in the direction of the kart curvesThis is **NOT** to dunk on her. That's pretty much what I myself would end up being if I tried to be a vtuber.
But after watching her go back and watch Marine playing Mariokart, Pekora playing MarioKart, Rushia playing MarioKart, pretty much any Holo or top level Niji playing it and you will get a sense of the difference, the professionalism, the deliberation of every action and word.
There is a WORLD of difference between the top streamers and the ones at the bottom of the ranking and it is not just branding or luck. Lots of talent and hard work go into it (and also lots of luck and lots of branding, but it doesn't carry the streamer to the goal, only to the field)
Don't believe me? Skim that stream and check for yourself
