As was explained to you last time, dictionaries are not prescriptive. The usage of "bastard" as an insult is not the technical, legal usage indicating the legitimacy of a child.
If used as an insult, "bastard" is generally, specifically used for males. Therefore, unless you KNOW the person being insulted is female (for absurdity and/or effect), if it is ambiguous, it is fair to infer the one being insulted is a male.
The fact that native speakers all have this understanding is clear evidence that this is the convention. Language does not exist outside of the way it is used by its native speakers. Stop relying on dictionaries as a substitute for the actual organic reality, that is a common pitfall of ESLs.
