I decided to say fuck it since I don't have anything else to do today. Time for my honest review.
It goes without saying that this ramen is not worth 90 dollars but I'd go as far as to say it's not even worth 90 cents. The noodles are very rough and chalky even after drowning them in water like the package says. 2.25 cups is what it says to use and I think I put even less than that. It's hard to tell because I didn't feel that it would be necessary to break out the measure cup for some damn noodles.
The package also says to put the water first which then the noodles which very well might be the way some niggas do it. Feels wrong to me but that's subjective. What isn't is the fact that they also instruct you to put the seasoning in AFTER the water has cooled down. I think that's just ridiculous and is the main reason why these did not taste very good. Anyone who has eaten ramen before knows that's wrong but I did it because that's what it says to do.
To give a fair review, I have to put this in the perspective of the average retard spending nearly $100 on this. They probably didn't grow up making 50 cent Maruchan for lunch and dinner every day. I did but I am definitely the exception here. This might be the first time the average person buying this has ever made ramen in their life, Vita Ramen is teaching them wrong as a way of gatekeeping I guess. That's the only rationalization I can come up with and I suppose it is pretty funny if you look at it that way. Some rich fuck out there is going to pop their ramen cherry to this and decide that all ramen is overpriced bullshit.
So, let's say you just through out their dumbass instructions that I spent two paragraphs on. What are you left with? A pretty damn small portion of bad, overly processed noodles and an obscene amount of bland flavoring. I already threw it away and don't want to open another one but the flavor packet was about the size of a credit card and filled to the brim. That would be a positive if it actually tasted good. I could at least say that I had fun drinking the seasoned water but I didn't, it again tastes like chalk.
Even making it right isn't going to save this. What they really want you to do is use this as a base and add your own crap on top. In my personal opinion, defeats the purpose of packaged ramen. If I wanted to customize and add more flavors and garnishes, I'd go to an actual ramen shop and have a professional chef do it. The point of packaged ramen is to be a cheap, quick and tasty meal. The 3AM ramen is none of that.
I give it a 3/10, now you can back to regularly scheduled Faggotboro spam
