COVER GOES BEYOND
Cover stocks went soaring and would close in the triple digits in gains at 2456 yen (168). Although this could be rather underwhelming as they faced pressure from short sellers and the NIKKEI having a terrible day, which lead to a drop off early on into a recovery that would slowly dwindle as the day went on.
This also marks a historical milestone, as Cover has now passed their price from the day of Anycolor's crash in March from their Q3 2024 report. Albeit still a good 4838 yen away from their peak this year (2944 on January 26th.) That being said, Cover now looks at a 264 yen gain for this week so far.
ANYCOLOR IMPLODES
Anycolor closes out the first day after Cover's report with a disaster as the stock collapses down to 2145 yen (-89) for the day. Now just 54 yen away from their lowest since their Q1 report. Despite a rough start that they looked, to be recovering from (and even peaked into the green) they would swiftly sink back deeper into the red as the day went on. Today's disastrous performance also puts them in red overall this week at a 40 yen loss.
OTHER
The gap between the two companies is now a staggering 311 yen in Cover's favor.
The NIKKEI turns over at a bad time for Cover as the market sees a 1.66% loss today.
