imo Gen1/Invaders and Gen2/3+ split would be the way to go. Invaders should be with Gen1 to prevent the thread from becoming the Pippa general and a Gen2/3+ general would have enough people to sustain itself. We would probably have to decommission the name /pcg/ to prevent asshurt and endless bickering over it though
